Eviction of a PepsiCo factory in Buenos Aires

On July 13th, 2017 in Buenos Aires, a factory of the PepsiCo group was evicted. After production had been relocated and 600 workers had been laid off,  about 20 workers occupied the factory at the end of June. 500 policemen carried out the eviction very violently.

In the video, the workers speak about Rodolfo Daer, the secretary general of the Argentinean food union. He had justified the eviction.

Two hours after the eviction, a court ruled illegal the dismissal of the 600 workers, and ordered their re-employment.
