"After the revolution we learned about union rights and freedoms," says a worker at the transport company Cairo Express. In February 2012 11 workers first went on strike demanding a wage increase. After they were sacked the strike spread. All 300 employees staged a sit-in strike demanding the re-employment of the 11 fired workers.

In reaction to the struggle the transport company was closed down.

"I asked for a health insurance in case I got ill. What if I have an accident? Or if I - perish the thought - get ill? I would have nothing. Nobody would pay for me. I demand a health insurance. I ask for a wage that protects me and my children from begging and debts. Every month I have to borrow money from my neighbors. I always have problems with the landlord. I do not have the money to pay the rent. In reaction to my demands the company was closed down. The owner has many other companies and does not need this one." (Quoted from the film)
