Alter Mann mit Rolator auf Demo The Loud Spring

On our own behalf...

If you have ever thought about supporting labournet.tv, now would be the right time to do it. We lost our funding from the Foundation for Human Dignity and Communication in the World of Work in 2019 and have been keeping our heads above water ever since, thanks mainly to our 154 supporting members and a lot of volunteer work. At the same time, we are working on a major new film:
The Loud Spring is about climate catastrophe and how we should address it as a society. Although there is a lot of interest in the film, this project is also currently underfunded. So we are having trouble funding both our regular activities and the new film project and need your support for both.

How you can support us:

labournet.tv should continue to exist. We need independent media that take a class perspective. To help us continue and build the project you can consider several ways:

Become a funding member
Funding members enable the continuation of labournet.tv. Once a year we invite them to a meeting where we report about the last year and discuss how to continue.

Research for films
You have seen a meaningful video about the current strikes in Iran and have time to research the context? It would be important for labournet.tv to publish such a video and fulfill our claim to cover important resistance movements worldwide. The same goes for all other countries and strike movements.

Making films
You have a camera, a microphone, some experience and contact to strikers? We can advise you on what is important in such videos and would be happy to publish the result.

Subtitling
We are happy about people who subtitle videos or translate existing subtitles into German or English. We can advise you on the software you need - it's not difficult.

Co-fund The Loud Spring
When the film is released early next year, the situation for labournet.tv will relax again. With the expected many screenings, we can, as we did with "Air to Breathe", make labournet.tv better known and find new funding members to secure the project in the long term. Until then, however, we have a difficult time ahead of us.
