Five illegalized domestic workers tell their stories. "They are permanently in danger of being deported. They work in private households, they are extremely dependent on their employers, and they have developed different strategies in order to hold their ground". And it documents a period of political struggles of migrants' groups in Germany for the assertion of their rights.
